We are excited to announe that Biotrend is sponsoring the ATgliaNet Symposium 2025, which will take place on March 21st, 2025 at the Institute of Science and Technology Austria (ISTA). 
The ATgliaNet Symposium 2025 is specifically designed to foster a vibrant and collaborative environment within the Austrian glia community. By bringing together leading glial researchers, students, and enthusiasts, the event will serve as a unique platform to encourage the exchange of innovative ideas, cutting-edge research, and diverse perspectives. The symposium aims to bridge gaps between various research groups and laboratories, facilitating partnerships that will drive forward advancements in the field of glial biology.

Outlines of the event:

Neuro-Glial Cells – An Introductory Workshop: A session that will offer short introductory talks by ATgliaNet experts, providing an overview of different neuroglia cell types and their essential functions in the CNS. These talks will set the stage for in-depth discussions of the open challenges in glial research.

Short Introduction to Glia Labs in Austria: ATgliaNet members will present their ongoing research, the scientific challenges they face, and the key questions driving their work. Featured speakers, including Igor Adameyko, Nicole Amberg, and Johannes Berger

ATgliaNet Mission & Vision – Building a Strong Austrian Glia Community:
A key part of the symposium will include a presentation on the vision behind ATgliaNet. This session will explore how the network aims to strengthen scientific exchange and build a robust glia research community in Austria.
