It consists of a large, heavily glycosylated, amino-terminal extracellular domain of 400-550 amino acids, a single transmembrane region and a large carboxy-terminal cytoplasmic domain of 700 amino acids. CD45/LCA is expressed on hematopoietic cell lines but absent on non-hematopoietic cell lines, normal and malignant non-hematopoietic tissues. The intracellular portion of CD45 proteins has phosphatase activity and is involved in regulation of transmembrane signals, functioning as a leukocyte membrane receptor capable of transducing signals via its phosphotyrosine phosphatase domains.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions:|Flow Cytometry: Neat; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Hybridoma:|NS-1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. ||Recommended Negative Control:|C2399-07B3: IgG1 Murine Negative Control (PE)||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C before and after reconstitution. DO NOT FREEZE! Lyophilized and reconstituted products are stable for 12 months after receipt at 4°C. Reconstitute lyophilized powder with sterile ddH2O prior to use and store remainder as an undiluted liquid. Caution: PE conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
