Cellular models for studying the relationship between stromal cells and tumors workshop

It's with deep honor that we share with you that Clinisciences is sponsoring the CELLULAR MODELS FOR STUDYING THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN STROMAL CELLS AND TUMORS Workshop, that'll be held in the Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences - University of Eastern Piedmont “Amedeo Avogadro”  in Vercelli, Italy, on October 24th 2024.

The University of Eastern Piedmont “Amedeo Avogadro” is located in Italy and is known for its commitment to academic excellence and research innovation.

The workshop on Cellular Models for Studying the Relationship Between Stromal Cells and Tumors is designed to address the crucial role of the tumor microenvironment in cancer biology.

The aim of this workshop is to enhance participants' understanding of the dynamic relationship between stromal cells and tumors. By sharing the latest research findings and innovative methodologies, we hope to inspire new ideas and foster collaborations that advance cancer research and treatment.

Some of the he objectives of this workshop are as follows:

  • Understanding the Tumor Microenvironment: Explore the composition and function of the tumor microenvironment, focusing on the role of stromal cells in tumor progression.
  • Examinating Cellular Models: Discuss various advanced cellular models, including in vitro and in vivo systems, that are used to study stromal-tumor interactions.
  • Investigating Mechanisms of Interaction: Analyze the mechanisms by which stromal cells influence tumor biology, including signaling pathways, immune modulation, and metabolic support.
