The extracellular domain of LAG-3 contains a V-set and three C2-set Ig domains. LAG-3 is expressed on activated T cells, NK cells and B cells. It binds to MHC class II molecules with much higher avidity than CD4, a LAG-3 structural homolog. Mouse and human LAG-3 have been shown to be negative regulators of T cell function and homeostasis. The extracellular domain of human and mouse LAG-3 share 69% aa sequence identity.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Direct ELISA, Western Blot and Flow Cytometry. Other applications not tested.||Recommended Dilutions: |Flow Cytometry: 10ul labels 1x10e6 human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) treated with PHA.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher.||Absorption: 482 and 564nm||Emission: 675nm||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store at 4°C. Do not freeze. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. PerCP conjugates are sensitive to light.
