The Thy-1 antigen is found on a variety of cell types including thymocytes, neuronal cells, T-Lymphocytes (mouse), stem cells and immature B cells (rat) and connective tissue.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Immunoprecipitation and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilutions: |Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Optimal dilution determined by the researcher. ||Hybridoma: |NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice. ||Recommended Negative Control: |I1904-78Y: IgG1, Murine Negative Control (For rat tissue)||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. | |Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.

Applications
Product Type: Mab|Isotype: IgG1|Clone No: 6A341 (OX-7)|Host: mouse|Source: rat|Concentration: As Reported|Form: Supplied as a liquid in PBS, pH 7.2. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP).|Purity: Purified by Protein G affinity chromatography from tissue culture supernatant.|Immunogen: Rat Thy1 antigen. Swiss/UniProt Accession: P01830|Specificity: Recognizes rat CD90 also known as Thy1.1. Thy1.1 is a monomorphic determinant in rat but polymorphic in mice. Reacts with Thy1.1 mice e.g. AKR and FVB mice, but not Thy1.2 mice such as CBA and BALB/c.
