-20°CCD35 is a single chain cell surface glycoprotein which exists in four allotypic forms (A,B,C,D) of 190kD, 220kD, 160kD and 250kD respectively. The molecule is expressed by granulocytes, monocytes, B cells and some T cells. Functionally CD35 acts as a receptor for the C3b component of complement.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Immunohistochemistry and Western Blot. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilutions:|Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin):. Requires antigen retrieval using heat treatment for 20 minutes prior to staining of paraffin sections. Sodium citrate pH 6.0 is recommended.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ||Hybridoma: |NS1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.||Positive Control:|Human tonsil||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. |For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. ||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
