-20°CCD1a is a ~49kDa single pass type 1 transmembrane glycoprotein containing a single Ig-like domain, expressed in association with beta 2 microglobulin. CD1a is expressed strongly by cortical thymocytes, and also by Langerhans cells and interdigitating cells. CD1a is involved in the presentation of lipids and glycolipids to NK cells.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Flow Cytometry and Immunohistochemistry. Other applications not tested. ||Recommended Dilution:|Flow Cytometry: 1:50-1:100; 10ul labels 10e6 cells in 100ul|Immunohistochemistry: Frozen sections|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher. ||Hybridoma: |NS1/Ag4.1 myeloma cells with spleen cells from Balb/c mice.||Positive Control for Immunohistochemistry:|Skin||Storage and Stability:|May be stored at 4°C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt.
