-20°Cp300 is a transcriptional adapter protein which is characterized by three cysteine-and histidine-rich regions and its C-terminus specifically binds the adenovirus E1A protein. p300, and p300-associated proteins, are components of TATAbinding protein (TBP) complexes. Protein kinase A mediated CREB phosphorylation results in the binding of CREB to a 265kD nuclear protein designated CBP (for CREB-binding protein). CBP and p300 are homologous to each other.||Applications:|Suitable for use in Immunofluorescence and Immunohistochemistry. Not suitable for use in Western Blot. Other applications have not been tested.||Recommended Dilution: |Immunohistochemistry (Formalin/paraffin): 1:50-1:100 for 30 min at RT. Staining of formalin-fixed tissues requires boiling tissue sections in 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10-20 min followed by cooling at RT for 20 min.|Optimal dilutions to be determined by the researcher||Positive Control: Tonsil||Storage and Stability:|Store product at 4°C if to be used immediately within two weeks. For long-term storage, aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing and store at -20°C. Aliquots are stable at -20°C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Note: Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. |For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.||Note: Applications are based on unconjugated antibody.
